Hi! I'm Joel (pronounced Joe-EL), a graphic designer based out of Chicago with 10+ years of experience in design, print, and marketing. I have a passion for helping clients reach their creative goals and tell their stories by creating beautiful, compelling work.

I currently design for The University of Chicago, where I've worked on branding, marketing materials, event identities, and illustrations that support the university’s various departments and their goals. I thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy tackling complex visual challenges, and am always looking forward to the next creative challenge.

Outside of work I am often working on personal art projects (currently learning how to make Puerto Rican folklore monster masks), fiddling with musical instruments, taking photos, and going to lots of concerts. I am also an avid horror movie fan and when I'm not exploring the world in whichever Zelda game I am playing, I am out exploring the real world and love being out in nature.
